Family

Brief History: Family originated in Italy, where his mother, Bella, and father, Vince were married. He has four brothers, Abele, Adamo, Basilio, and Carlo, and two sisters, Adona and Calandra. He was the fourth child to be born to the family (after his brothers Abele and Adamo, and his sister, Adona). His father was a wealthy merchant, while his mother did not work, staying home to raise the children.
At the age of 15, his father died. And in his father's will, he left Koby the business. Koby was a very successful merchant, much like his father. When age 25 arrived, the business was thriving, but he had yet to take a wife.
At last, one beauty caught his eyes. She was very beautiful, but pale.
Koby began to court the beauty, later learning that her name was Emilia. During a festivity, Koby took her out into the woods. There, Emilia confessed that she was a vampire. Even with the shock, he asked of her to turn him. And she did.
Later on, in 1845, Emilia was held captive and staked by the towns' people. This left Koby in a depressive state, draining the entire city.
He spent the next one hundred years in this pattern, depressive and murderous.
Finally, in 1945, he managed to pull himself from the murderous part of his life. The depression began to fade slowly, but still remains today.
On February 10th, 2011, he moved to Mystic Falls, Virginia after spending much of his time in New York City, New York working as Vice President of Dell Law Firm.
In Mystic Falls, he currently does not have a job, but has lots of money from his previous job.


Personality:
Being Italian, he uses hand gestures a lot. He can be quick to judge people and sometimes labels people with nicknames.
He likes to boast about his wealth, but is always giving towards others. He almost always tells the truth, lying only for strict reasons. In his human years, he was very religious, but now, the only religion in his life is when he says grace at dinner, that is before he feeds on humans. He is against blood bags, preferring the 'real thing'. He can have a mean-looking persona, but really he can be a softie.
